independent about how this drug can also combat malaria.
Apparently, an anti-parasitic drug ivermectin can turn your blood lethal to mosquitoes. Ivermectin is already
used to kill worms and
parasites, but it is now pretty evident it can also be used
to make one's blood lethal to mosquitoes and parasites.
As someone who currently lives in Taiwan, I need some of
this mosquito-killing drug. Every night I kill at least 5 of those pests, unable to
enjoy a good night's sleep, tortured by either the itch from
bites or the buzzing noise those pesky mosquitoes make.
I've read up a bit on the discussion around the article, and where some posted links to studies that say
not much harm will befall the environment if mosquitoes went extinct.
So can someone please mass-produce these drugs so we can eliminate those blood-sucking buggers once and for all?
Based on the experiments, the drug does not seem harmful to humans especially as some children received the drug.
