大家一起快乐记单词


【活动内容】

英语角每周放出七个单词，并配上妙趣横生的图片。
帮助大家在会心一笑的同时，记住这些英文单词。
咱们的要求就是，请大家在了解完各自的单词之后，
用该单词造个句子即可。
轻轻松松学英语，就是这么简单！


【活动奖励】

用每期所给出的七个单词分别造句。每造一句子，20PB的奖励，限3句，每句句型不得重复。相同的单词限同一楼层回复。

新规则：
          1.在一个句子中，若是能同时用到本周给出的两个单词，有额外的10分附加分，同时用到三个单词，附加分为15分，同时用到四个单词，附加分为20分，依此类推。。。
用到两个及以上单词时，请用不同颜色标注出你所用到的单词。
相同的句子，只能用一次。
         2.欢迎大家提供新的单词来记，版主根据难易度和常见度审核所提交的单词，一经采纳，更有多重惊喜等你来拿！
         3.为了“记单词”活动更有声色，更具有实际性，从这期开始，LZ会在贴子里增加好听的英文歌，也希望参加的各位pairs多多提供好听的英文歌，一经采纳，同样有多重惊喜！~(≧▽≦)/~啦啦啦

【造句要求】

使用每周给出的新单词造句，所造句子不可与给出的例句雷同；专有名词，如地名，人名，商标名，书名，电影电视名，歌曲名等等，不可用于造句；也不可造类似“I have learned a new word or phrase "XXX".”这种不能体现该单词意义的句子。

英语角的单词造句鼓励原创，若被版主有理由怀疑其从网上直接摘抄，将不给活动分。

1.ADJ间接的；非直接的An indirect result or effect is not caused immediately and obviously by a thing or person, but happens because of something else that they have done.

例：Businesses are feeling the indirect effects from the recession that's going on elsewhere...
      企业感受到了别处经济衰退带来的间接影响。

2、ADJ-GRADED（话语或信息）含蓄的，拐弯抹角的Indirect remarks and information suggest something or refer to it, without actually mentioning it or stating it clearly.

例：His remarks amounted to an indirect appeal for economic aid...
     他的话相当于拐弯抹角地请求经济援助。

swing

1、V-ERG（使）摆动；（使）摇摆；（使）摇荡If something swings or if you swing it, it moves repeatedly backwards and forwards or from side to side from a fixed point.

例：She was swinging a bottle of wine by its neck...
    她正握着瓶颈摇晃一瓶葡萄酒。


2. N-COUNT（意见、态度或感情的）改变；（尤指）突变，巨变A swing in people's opinions, attitudes, or feelings is a change in them, especially a sudden or big change.

例：There was a massive twenty per cent swing away from the Conservatives to the Liberal Democrats...
