"Edward is perfect" is a quite good summary, as well as the "Your husband is the king, then you must be the queen" comment. I don't read the Twilight series, and don't plan to any time soon. I did read the cover summary, and felt that they were not my cup of tea. Also, I've read comments from English-speaking readers, and those that I'm confident in their reviews don't care much for the books at all. I'm sure the author is very good at describing and world building and all that critical to make a good writer, but the idea as well as the view point projected is so different from mine that I would prefer to not waste my time as well as peace of mind. Nevertheless, to anyone want to try out, hope you have a good time reading.
As for The Host, it sounds interesting, at least the summary on wiki told me so, but the conflict point is: if the invading Souls is peaceful and all that, how can they do something require force like replace the soul of the human they live in?
