泰戈爾 had never written this poem.

《荷包里的单人床》 这本书是张小娴的小说，而这本书的封面上就写了一句话：「世上最遥远的距 离，不是生与死的距离，不是天各一方，而是，我就站在你面前，你却不知道 我爱你。」（注十）另外，在这本书的再版里，张小娴也在序说道：今年（二Ｏ Ｏ二年）二月，我去了台湾一趟，这才知道「世上最遥远的距离……」这段文 字去年十二月在台湾很流行。一群阳明山医学院的医科生把我的句子延续下 去，写了一首有趣的诗，放在台湾的ＢＢＳ网站上。自些之后，看到这段文字 的人愈来愈多；于是，开始有人流传，言其实是出自泰戈尔的笔下。有人更言 之凿凿说是出自泰戈尔的《漂鸟集》。 许多广告用了这段文字，电视问答游戏的主持人也问参加者：「泰戈尔说『世上 最遥远的距离……』，下一句是甚么？」一位知名女作家在接受访问时，也叹息： 「泰戈尔说，世上最遥远的距离……」，她并且把这段文字收在她自己的书里。 别人都以为我是抄泰戈尔的，只有我和我的出版社知道我没有抄，这真是世上 最遥远的距离。 幸好，后来有一位喜欢我书的台湾读者到图书馆翻查了所有泰戈尔的书，证实 泰戈尔从来没有写过这么一首诗。这位读者在ＢＢＳ网络上替我平反了。（注十 一注十：《荷包里的单人床》作者：张小娴 出版社：皇冠） 因此，在这本书里面可以知道说，这一段文字的第一段的的确确是出自于张小 娴之手，但后面的三段也的确是阳明医学院学生所写的，但由于书里以及相关 网站已经无法查到数据，所以也就无法得证了。(~这段2002年中国时报记者考证相关 网站后并刊登在报纸上为证，证明为台湾阳明神农坡医学院（bbs．ym．edu．tw）阳明医学院学生所写)

I did find the China Time news  in Library and checked 泰戈尔’ poetry when I read the poem. And I found 泰戈尔 didn’t write this poem.

貌似这不是泰的吧，版本太多了，都糊涂了！！

The last line was a bit off, it did not go with the all the previous comparison where things seem physically close.

却没有交汇的轨迹 they can't burn the light.

而是纵然轨迹交汇 It is after the light
却在转瞬间无处寻觅 they can't be seen from afar.

而是尚未相遇 It is the coincidence of us
便注定无法相聚 is not supposed for the love.

一个翱翔天际 One is flying in the sky,
一个却深潜海底 the other is looking upon into the sea.

Personally, I agree with the 5th reply that the poem is not written by Tagore.

ok, i know that, but in my whole  senior high school，i still read it and don not know that who is the  writer ,now ,i know that ,but the memory will not changed .
