You can read a person's feelings by listening to the sound or tone of their voice, just as you can looking at their body language.
Listen for:
How fast or slow the person speaks.
How loud or soft the voice is.
How high or low the voice is.
How much the voice goes up and down.
You can also listen for voice qualities such as strength, warmth and smoothness.
For example, a person who is feeling excited may speak more quickly than usual and their voice may be high.
The voice of a person who is angry may be louder and stronger than usual.
The voice of a person who is worried may not be as strong as usual, and with more hestitation.
