A some Chinglish I used to talk with my oral E teachers. But they told me these words would make them feel ridiculous.
So today I share some bad expressions with you.
GO:
1."How about your weekend?"-you shoud only use "how about" when making a suggestion. It is often followed by a gerund.
I think when asking someone's weekend or vacation, use "How was ……"
Example:How was your weekend?
2."Is it delicious?"-Chinese people use the word "delicious"much too often.Native speakers usually use the verb "to taste" when describing food.
Instead: How does it taste?
3."See you!"-Don't ever say this! Instead ,you shoud choose one of these phrases:
*See you later!
*See ya!
*Bye!
4.Have a good rest"-You shoudn't tell someone to "have a good rest",because rest is a plural ,noncount noun. Try one of these alternatives:
*Get some rest!
* You shoud get some rest.
*Go home and rest.
Maybe I cann't remmber much more now. I will renew more Chinglish next time.
See ya! O(∩_∩)O~~
