I am from China, too, currently living in Canada.  I planned to post a few other national anthems and ask for everyone's opinion, if people are interested.  So that was why I posted my own country's first.  I listened to the anthems of many different countries on YouTube, and some of them had English subtitles.  I felt that one might be able to determine some characteristics of the different countries by carefully analysing their anthems.  Whether its tone is more peaceful or have allusions to war and violence, whether it is very religious or more secular, whether the music is soft and flowing or hard and rhythmic, etc.  So any help will be very much appreciated.  Thank you!!!
