【活动内容】

英语角每周放出七个单词,并配上妙趣横生的图片。
帮助大家在会心一笑的同时,记住这些英文单词。
咱们的要求就是,请大家在了解完各自的单词之后,
用该单词造个句子即可。
轻轻松松学英语,就是这么简单!



【活动奖励】

用每期所给出的七个单词分别造句。每造一句子,20PB的奖励,限3句,每句句型不得重复。相同的单词限同一楼层回复。

新规则:
          1.在一个句子中,若是能同时用到本周给出的两个单词,有额外的10分附加分,同时用到三个单词,附加分为15分,同时用到四个单词,附加分为20分,依此类推。。。
用到两个及以上单词时,请用不同颜色标注出你所用到的单词。
相同的句子,只能用一次。
         2.欢迎大家提供新的单词来记,版主根据难易度和常见度审核所提交的单词,一经采纳,更有多重惊喜等你来拿!
         3.为了“记单词”活动更有声色,更具有实际性,从这期开始,LZ会在贴子里增加好听的英文歌,也希望参加的各位pairs多多提供好听的英文歌,一经采纳,同样有多重惊喜!~(≧▽≦)/~啦啦啦

【造句要求】

使用每周给出的新单词造句,所造句子不可与给出的例句雷同;专有名词,如地名,人名,商标名,书名,电影电视名,歌曲名等等,不可用于造句;也不可造类似“I have learned a new word or phrase "XXX".”这种不能体现该单词意义的句子。

英语角的单词造句鼓励原创,若被版主有理由怀疑其从网上直接摘抄,将不给活动分。

说起与【囧记单词】的结缘,几乎已经忘记了
然而从前一直都是在apple store下载到itouch上之后,连上wifi就下载单词来看的
后来某一天,突然发现,它竟然有微博
于是果断收听了
很不错的地方,轻松学英语
每次看了,都让人捧腹大笑

insult [‘insΛlt, in’sΛlt]vt.&n.侮辱,凌辱

冬天来了,长胖了的姑娘们怎么办呢……教你……这样称体重不伤自尊。








insult

1.VERB侮辱;辱骂If someone insults you, they say or do something that is rude or offensive.

例:I did not mean to insult you...
        我不是要故意侮辱你。

2.N-COUNT侮辱;凌辱;辱骂An insult is a rude remark, or something a person says or does which insults you.

例:Their behaviour was an insult to the people they represent...
             他们的行为是对他们代表的人民的一种侮辱。

3.PHRASE更为不公的是;更不可接受的是;更糟的是You say to add insult to injury when mentioning an action or fact that makes an unfair or unacceptable situation even worse.

例:The driver of the car that killed Smith got a £250 fine and five penalty points on his licence. To add insult to injury, he drove away from court in his own car.
      撞死史密斯的汽车司机仅被罚款250英镑,驾照上扣了5分。更让人不可接受的是,他竟然开着自己的车从法院扬长而去。
