每个单词占一楼，每个单词限造3个句子。

说起与【囧记单词】的结缘，几乎已经忘记了
然而从前一直都是在apple store下载到itouch上之后，连上wifi就下载单词来看的
后来某一天，突然发现，它竟然有微博
于是果断收听了
很不错的地方，轻松学英语
每次看了，都让人捧腹大笑

social ['sәuʃәl] adj. 社会的;交际的,社交的【原图水印被抹……抱歉不知道原作者是谁orz】

  要咱说……差异也不是很大嘛……











social
adj.
1.Social means relating to society or to the way society is organized.
表示和社会有关的，或者和社会运作有关的。
...the worst effects of unemployment, low pay and other social problems.

2. Social means relating to the status or rank that someone has in society.
social表示和一个人的状态和在社会上的阶层有关的。

Week 36 Word 02

pushup pushup ['puʃʌp] n. 伏地挺身；俯卧撑【图by@罗罗布】

  做3个俯卧撑会死人，做100个俯卧撑则可以自救！











1. Push-ups are exercises to strengthen your arms and chest muscles. They are done by lying with your face towards the floor and pushing with your hands to raise your body until your arms are straight.
俯卧撑。
so you can push-up or shut up.

  这个狗狗的衣服实在是太喜感了……

1. A guardian is someone who has been legally appointed to look after the affairs of another person, for example a child or someone who is mentally ill.
监护人。
The legal guardian must act on behalf of the child.

2.The guardian of something is someone who defends and protects it.
某物的guardian指并保护该物的人。
The National Party is lifting its profile as socially conservative guardian of traditional values.

1.Something that is unique is the only one of its kind.
表示独一无二的。
Each person's signature is unique...

2. You can use unique to describe things that you admire because they are very unusual and special.
你可以用unique来形容你欣赏的东西，因为他们相当少见。

shelter [‘ʃeltə] n.隐蔽处；掩蔽，庇护 v.遮蔽，掩护，庇护

这个非常霸气外露啊！不过要当心变成积水侧漏！

1.A shelter is a small building or covered place which is made to protect people from bad weather or danger.
让人们的躲避糟糕天气的小建筑物。
The city's bomb shelters were being prepared for possible air raids.

2. A shelter is a building where homeless people can sleep and get food.
无家可归的人可以获得食物和睡觉的地方的建筑。
...a shelter for homeless women.

3. If a place or thing is sheltered by something, it is protected by that thing from wind and rain.
如果A be sheltered by B,表示B保护了A，不受风或者雨 的损害。

lurk [lə:k] n. 潜伏; 埋伏 v. 潜藏, 埋伏, 潜伏; 偷偷摸摸, 潜逃;

表示人悄悄的躲在某个地方，让别人看不见他们（通常为了做坏事）

I can do 100 pushups in 5 mins.

She never can finish a pushup although we think it is so easy.

It is a little hard for girls to finish 10 pushups in a  short time.
