“When tomorrow turns in today, yesterday, and someday that no more important in your memory, we suddenly realize that we are pushed forward by time.”
That is a quote from the movie The Odd Couple. It is the words and it is the truth. When I watched the debate competition, one in that competition had said that no matter how important one thing was, it would be nothing when we grew older.
When we are still very young, we will consider everything simple but also very important. For example, when our friends refuse to share her toys with us, we may think she is mean or not loyal to us and speak something bad to our relationship easily. Actually, that was merely a tiny thing. Yet we were too young to think about this. Because we always take things serious, we lost. What I am trying to say is not to despise them but to try to deal with them in a more rational way, especially with our precious sadness.
When we were children, our parents always set up a wall to protect us from hurt. Thus, once we are hurt by someone, at least we think so; we became really frustrated and sorrowful.
However, the fact is when time goes by, everything used to be unbearable to us turn out to be nothing. We once get injured for parent’s criticize, but when growing up, we learn that every words they said to us is for our good. We once get injured for someone’s betrayal, but when growing older, we realize that all the memory of that person faded into nothing. We once get injured for a failure, but when we experienced more, we get to know that kind of failure was just a piece of cake compared with other things we got through.
