嗯..... 试着翻译看看，不是很好，但是楼大可能用来做一格参考吧。说真的，翻译起来还挺会害死脑细胞呢，呵呵......
有一些地方我没有直接翻译，因为听起来挺怪的，还有哦，我还是不大了解中国特色的英文翻译以Chinese characteristics 来解答对不对。我比较喜欢把它翻译成 'the distinguishing features/the traits of the Chinese'. 希望这对楼大有所帮助哦！~
Language is that which encapsulates a culture; it is the gem, the very essence that proclaims a race’s traditions, way of thinking, practices and values. The term ‘Chinese characteristics’ has been translated in a practical manner, where emphasis has been placed on understanding the literal language. As a result, cultural connotations have been overlooked and this makes it difficult to reflect on the true meaning of what the original phrase had been expressed in Chinese. Only if translators are bilingual in both English and Chinese, understand the origin of the phrase and what it’s trying to express, and strive to counter the obstacles encountered in the differing cultures by the use of suitable translations – be it phonetic, direct or technical – to describe ‘Chinese characteristics’ in a unique manner so that what’s disseminated to the foreigners can be understood in a captivating manner based on its original history, then the very soul of the Chinese culture can be accurately offered to the world. In turn, this will allow China to enter into the international stage, and at the same time, allow the world to better understand China.
